last thing i heard (about 2 weeks ago) there were still about 14 000 tickets available for the game. This is not a large amount to still be available for penrith given traditionally most of tickets for penrith home games are sold game day.

Most get sold on the day like the General Admission tickets so i would expect definately atleast over 15,000 for the season opener.

I know that choppies is a Roosters supporter. Sounds like a good bloke.

I don't think you will be seeing any more crowd records broken this year... I think a cap has been placed at 20,500, for crowd safety purposes. I know that was what they had for the Broncos semi.

I think the match will be a sell out, if the weather holds up.
