Dan got through a ton of work it seems. No recognition though. Good quick play of the ball for NSW first try. He also did a ton of tackling. Good to see.
Only played short minutes for his standard and held his own in that fiery opening 10 or so minutes. The way things are going, it could be a great time to come in and play the final 30-25 minutes of the match. He and Paulo should have a ball if QLD continue to tire.

Predict game 3 will be in Newcastle. It's just about the only town/city that could get a decent crowd subject to restrictions.
Gold Coast a second if restrictions get tighter in the rest of NSW.
I'd be OK if NSW train at Kingy again if it is GC.

High chance Newcastle will have the same restrictions as Sydney by game 3 unfortunately. Would rather see them go up 3-0 in front of a big crowd in QLD if possible.

Be cool if Newcastle got to host the 3rd, but I suspect we'll have some sort of outbreak and lockdown by then - who knows.

Imaging going 3-0 with all games being played in Qld - it will go down as one of, if not THE greatest NSW series wins, irrespective of how shit that Qld team is.

I’m hoping it goes to Melbourne. Would be nice after all the shit they’ve copped from fed government and Media. Plus they lost the first match when it was moved to Townsville.

Fox sports have named their Australian team based on the first 2 soo games and they pick jurbo (played 1 quiet game and missed game 2) and Papalli (also has only played 1 quiet game in a loosing side) as their starting frf with named dsaf off the bench

Big lol
Wouldnt Saifiti be representing Fiji? Pretty sure he can play for NSW, and still play for the minnows without compromising eligibility.

Pig work is not very sexy. His recognition (along with Crichton and Yeo who also were outstanding) will come with being the first forward picked next game and next year.

I can see why Dan isn't appreciated. The modern game only needs one workhorse, solid, bull like prop. We have four in the Saifitis, Klemmer and King. Saifiti was the rock the brilliant NSW's attack was built on. I know all the coaches will value his work and I'm sure he gets picked for Australia.

We need to trim down and probably look to offload Klemmer in the near future if a young skillful prop with potential comes onto the market.

I really rate Klem. I think he is an excellent prop for sheer reliability and toughness. Big decisions over his contract to follow.

The biggest issue with Klemmer is his price tag. 3 more years on just under $1m according to Toohey. Halve that and no one would be concerned.

If you look at his metres gained every week you'd think he's still great but it doesn't tell the full story. He has already noticeably lost a step and doesn't play with the same fire he used to, slow play the ball, no passing game/offload, easy target in the defensive line because he's slow laterally.

He's clearly in our best 17 but I think he's best suited coming off the bench.

I’d argue that we only have two true workhorses- Dan and Klemmer. Jacob is somewhere in the middle, and King is…. well King is King.
