Good win by Mahtoum.
I remember i backed it 1st up last prep (i think) it was at Randwick, had $50 on it at about 25-1 and it run about 6th. Got held up about 8 times in the straight and should of sh*t in. Haven't backed it since....

Actually that was the first time I've backed him since his Sydney Cup win.

Won me a grand that day. I had a futures double with him as the second leg.
