yeah i guess all those who dont have memberships have some sort of hard luck sad story to tell. Its not as if you are paying thousands for a membership idiot.
I am not doubting your support and passion. Im just saying that your are a leech and a tightass.

how the f**k am i a tightarse? ive got health problems that limit me from getting a f**king job, get a f**king clue dickhead, some people just cant afford that money. my jersey i wear is from 2004 when i LOST my kidney idiot which prevents me from getting a job, granted i got a transplant but by doctors orders again i cant get a bloody job. that what i mean as in think out side the box some people just CANT afford it. so im aleech coz i dont pay i have to be a true supporter if i have money what utter bullsh*t.

More power to you brother. Shows that it's not as black and white as some might think.

MITS get off your moral 'i'm better than everyone' high horse

what give you the right to question my financial circumstances and say I should be able to put away $1.50 a week for a supporter pack???

Your the one the bought up your financial status, not me. But you said you did all of that (maybe not the foxtel), and still you cant go to being a member? It was a question of if you could or not to further the discussion.

Additionally, where do I say that I have foxtel??? And the fact I buy my kids an eels shirt for Xmas means I therefore have enough money to be a paying member??? Who are you ??

I am a member.

mate, go back and sit with your pompous mates with their ANZ Platinum memberships who look down on the people in the GA section and snicker about how great they are

Your an idiot. I have sat in more GA sections in my life than most.

you clearly have ZERO idea what's it's like to support a family on one wage

I guess it all depends on how good that one wage is. But indeed you don't know my financial status either. If you truly can't afford less than a cup of coffee a week then I feel quite sorry for you.

I never claimed to be a member. I merely claimed that money does not decide if you are a supporter or not

But technically members are finacialy supporters of the club. Hence why I use the term differently to you.

So what your saying is that you cannot scrounge up a measly $80 each year for something that apparentlly you are so passionate about. If this is really true, then i really feel sorry for you.
Stop using your health issues to garner sympathy from other people on the forum.

My hat says member along with the bag it came in. My seats are members seats. Should I be asking for supporters seats ?
I buy these seats purley for a business point of view not to enhance the clubs funds.
just because you spend extra cash does not mean you feel a loss any more than a GA ticketed supporter. it does not mean that the $160 odd bucks you spend gives you a different jersey than a GA ticketed supporter.
it means you get an expensive set of coasters and some cheap tattoos. The club is not a non for profit organisation whom pays athletes an massive amount of money to play rugby league. What is the clubs goal ? to make a profit. How do they maximise profit ? by being as succsessfull as possible.
It is a lifestyle choice by some to pay to have good seats to support the club and some do not have the spare cash or feel that there lifestyle can be better improved by spending elsewhere.
it is ludicrous to insist that if you dont fork out the cash that you are not a club supporter. I have a mate who has every parra jersey going and attends around 6 home games a year from Newcastle but is not a member. what does that make him ?

Well if you're to believe some of the people on here Parramatta only has about 10 000 fans.

It should be compulsory to be a member if you want to watch the Eels at home matches, if not I would double the ticket price unless you can prove you live a reasonable distance away.

PARRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PARRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you work at a bowling club??. maybe at the gate you could have a map of parramatta with a big 5km radius circle on it.
hey how about members can sign other ""supporters"" in.

If i was a non member and i asked Ozzie a question and he wouldn't talk to me that would just make me run out and buy up a membership right there and then.

On the other hand being forthcoming might just make someone feel like they want to belong.

Im a financial supporter of this club and enjoy the fact that i am. However if i wasn't i would still consider myself a supporter.

Dick Head ?? Ohh sorry are you requesting to be my forum nemisis ? You know for a scared penisless little ghost u really aere kinda cute.

I accept.;-)

I go where the truth takes me Codger. All else is a waste of life. I never argue for any beliefs just for the sake of it. In the middle of the word belief is the word lie so this clearly tells us the truth about all beliefs. Do you have to believe in a tree for the tree to exist?? Of course not, the tree exists regardless if you believe in the tree (life/reality/creation) or not. Happy to learn from you mate. All great leaders have no followers because they inspire others to equally share the responsibility for life all around. So in this light, No, I am not your forum nemesis. Yes I have a natural penis but only use it to co-create children otherwise I am too busy co-creating gifts for life (for the living). My wife thinks I am cute.

yeh good one dickhead, why would i want sympathy? all im saying is that not all supporters become members and u need to get use to the fact that people sometimes can't 'scrounge' as u so put it up the money because somethings limit them that maybe arnt so simple get over it

this thread has gotten way out of hand.

people, support our club however u like

whether u watch the eels on your tv or go to a game, your an eels fan and that's what counts at the end of the day.

whether or not u can buy season memberships, a jersey, foxtel etc is no one's business.
