Hopefully we can keep the innuendo and other potentially defamatory comments out of this thread.
Am not sure this in itself is not a bit pre-emptive.
Wouldn't anyone making statements to parliament be entitles to parliamentary privilege and therefore the statements could be held from the public?
We need this ALL out in the open.
So what happened to the other thread ?
suspected overdose of comments about someone who's lawyer might not be wanting their name sprayed around the internet
no biggy - its history - move on
so will the goverment call this hearing on Friday Afternoon with the Sharks playing that Night? lol.
Can someone somewhere come out with the evidence and then ban the players/staff etc that are gulity and lets move on, the longer this goes the more it looks like they only have hearsay and no real evidence to go on. The press conference was just to put it out there and hope players/staff put thier hands up and took a lesser penalty.
Sounds like the Salary Cap police in the NRL, unless they get a tip off they have nothing.

They can have Tautai & O'Hanlon provided they can't give them back.
Considering that players 16 and 17 on your interchange bench from your best possible team are technically in your bottom 10, this rule is a load of crap for mine.
Maybe bottom 5 you could consider offloading
I think that the bloke that thought this goodin up was the same bloke who decided that anyone with a bit of cash in Cyprus should be hit for 10%.
F**k em. Why should our chances for a premiership (LOL) be affected because another club (or two) cheated.
must be nice for the players to know where they stand in the great scheme of things
they have allegedly been given drugs not made for human consumption and are facing possible bans if not criminal charges but the nrl's priority is shuffling them around from one club to another so they can still charge $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ from nine & fox
ABC Grandstand ‏@abcgrandstand 22m Smith: The focus is not on the clubs, it is on approximately 30 players - this information is a significant step forward
Rugby League Week ‏@LeagueWeek 26m The interviews will take approximately 4-6 weeks #NRL
Rugby League Week ‏@LeagueWeek 27m Grant: There are no clubs believed to have systemic issues beyond what is already known. #NRL
any individual players taking the peptides off their own bat without any club involvement are goooone
their only option is to grab that whistle and blow it till their lungs collapse
what is "already known"? - it's all a bit vague
and from what i read this morning if they did this player draft type thing, the players can refuse to change clubs if they don't want to go
The NRL has provided an FAQ regarding the ASADA investigation.
Why is only the NRL implicated? Darkest day in Australian sport is only after NRL?
I'm not trivialising the magnitude for the NRL but if you are going to grandstand like they did, why is it that the only sport that looks tainted is the NRL?
