Billy Kikau becomes the first player ruled out under the new compulsory 11 day stand down following a Cat 1 concussion at training. The incident was filmed, as they are supposed to be doing at all NRL training session, Was sent to a doctor who has ruled him out for 2 games!
This will become unsustainable.
They will have to eventually increase squad numbers if they really want more expansion teams. The talent pool can be further diluted. Not overall but on a week to week basis. One out there thought is that if each team had 1 player out with concussions suffered in the same round of footy or week of training an entire 17 man team is out the next week.
