Is this the part where you give yourself a lecture about spreading misinformation on the internet? ...like you did recently to someone else

is this tweet calling him a Republican cos he is wearing a flak jacket and usa flags and has a gun? ..... this picture is of him with his hair coloured blue and yellow, trying to recruit mercenaries to fight in ukraine

The media reports have him pretty well linked to being either a Democrat if anything - some say registered, some say not, but voted in the Dem primary so i assume you have to be registered. Once showed support for Trump, but now thinks he is shit and donates to Dem cause (similar to the last guy who supposedly took pot shots).

isn’t that Oatlands?…
No, Coleman Ave splits Carlingford shops and the bowlo and heads down to the Valley. My Grandparents lived in Honiton Ave East and we lived down the bottom on Honiton Ave West in a new bit. All the houses in my grandparents street are gone and are town houses now. :(

Did you go to James Ruse?
James Ruse was an agricultural high school back then. What people know JR as being a selective public school now is a far cry from what was.

They had huge paddocks that ran north in the valley towards North Rocks that were loaded with sheep n cows.

I believe JR is coed now too. Boys only back then.

Stop mate. The guy was a flip flop antivax nutter. He seemed to change his mind on a cause often. The ONLY thing that people shoukd be focused on is how f**kwits like him can just walk into Kmart and buy a AR15 FFS. #Merica.

lol, I get it, it's misinformation if it doesn't align with your agenda, how silly of me, maybe I should have posted a Youtube link cuz there is no misinformation on there

no source for ANY of these allegations ? see Gronk's post above, that is how you source, or reference an allegation

I don't really care what side of politics he's on, I posted because it was breaking news on Twitter and you're free to criticize it but you really don't put any argument forward, just unanswered questions and no source to back them up

but carry on

This was me in Yr5 with my Treasure Island book review before the class. But I never read it.

"So there is this island, a beautiful island. And it had palm trees and sand. Lots of sand. Underneath the sand was some treasure. That's why they called it Treasure Island. <looking at the cover> So then a pirate came. He had a wooden leg and a parrot on his shoulder and he was looking for the treasure. Great book. Thank you."

Do you understand Crypto? I mean we all know what it is but do you understand it?
Yes, I think I have a pretty good handle on it.

Putting mining and stuff like that aside, we live pretty much in a cashless society now, so it’s easy to compare the two using this premise.

We have traditional currencies created by countries and then we have virtual currencies. The gap between the two has narrowed as we no longer hold the physical currency in our pockets anymore.

So, whikst traditional currencies have indeed become more “virtual” in our cashless society, they remain fundamentally different from cryptocurrencies.

The primary differences are regulation, backing, stability, and control.

Traditional currency operates within a centralized framework with government support and regulation, while cryptocurrency functions in a decentralized manner, relying on market-driven value. So a government will manipulate a value by buying or selling in the short term or muck about with interest rates in the longer term blah blah to hopefully position their currency so that it sits at a competitive level for cross border trade.

The reason why crypto coins become valuable is their cap on how many are out there. So then the laws of supply v demand determines the price. Intrinsically they have no value. What’s that you say ? A $50 actually has no value either, other than the paper or plastic it’s printed on ? The difference is that the AU government promises that it is worth $50. With crypto, nobody promises you anything.

So, cryptos are also far more volatile, whereas traditional OECD currencies maintain relative stability through government intervention. Their value is determined by market demand, and there’s no institution ensuring their stability. You’re on your own. Nobody is there for you to hold your hand on volatility or stability or safety.

Traditional OECD currencies are tucked nicely in their undies, the fed has the incentive to ensure that their currency is optimal and banks are doing their best to protect you from fraud, whereas crypto is going commando. You are free balling it and if they get caught in the barb wire as you jump the fence, then that’s your problem.

Iam sure that people will say I am all wrong, but that’s how I understand it.

Here is my cryptocurrency metaphor.
