500 people were sacked FFS!
Yes. They lost their dream jobs selling flame tamers and grill plates. Very sad. But will look good on CV.

Sure but productivity has been shithouse for this entire century. Any decent means for improvement get kicked in the head.A capitalist system does not fundamentally require increased population growth, although it often thrives on expansion. While population growth historically stimulated demand and provided labor, modern capitalism can sustain itself through increased productivity, technological innovation, and efficiency rather than just more people.

Liberals beware: Voting One Nation often leads to Labor governments
The way to deal with One Nation is not to chase it in a race to the political bottom. You’ll never out-Pauline Pauline, and it is a fool’s errand to try. And, in the process, you lose middle Australia.www.smh.com.au
Mate you really dont need to post things for yourself on here.
Have you seen where the development in Wollongong is ? It’s safe to say your endangered seagulls are quite safe bud. There’s only a few million protected hectares of dense bushland that runs behind the whole of the Illawarra coastline. We need the existing population to spread out more while at the same time we need to make sure there is no more habitat destruction via urban sprawl. In NSW: Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle and parts of the central coast need to go skyrise.
The reason we need immigration is not because we need population growth per se', it's because we have an aging population, that once it hits retirement consumes a lot of resources, but beyond a bit of Soylent Green produces none.
It's f**king awesome though that the largest cohort of One Nation voters, the over 55's, are also the ones who now benefit most from our historical levels of immigration.
People really dont like the word Galore. Why Barbeques Galore went bust https://share.google/VwX5xSQ5oLWJGK5BT
Good. Wollongong should totally go skyrise and do no more sprawling out of the existing urban line.Have you seen where the development in Wollongong is ?
