Serious question, what do they have to do with the Sachs/Tucker video......claiming the bombing was because NATO needed a base.....
I believe the NATO bombing had multiple motives, with the primary goal being to force Milosevic into submission. However, it was both gruesome and unnecessary. The actions of NATO and the United States against a sovereign state mirror the very actions for which Israel faces condemnation. Innocent civilians lost their lives during the bombing, and cancer rates skyrocketed due to the use of approximately 25 tonnes of depleted uranium.

And yes, on ancient Serbian land lies the largest US base in the Balkans, spanning 955 acres. Don’t think for a moment that this was accidental.

Sounds awfully like what Russia is now doing towards Ukraine......gruesome and unnecessary killing of innocent civilians in a sovereign state.....

Mate, Bowen a federal minister.

This is a NSW Problem today.

From 2011 to 2023 this state had a Liberal Government, and built ZERO new coal fired power stations

From 2013 to 2022 the federal goverment was a Liberal Goverment and they built ZERO new coal fired powerstations in New South Wales.

8 - 11 years to get cracking on your problem when they had all the power, to get more power.
Why would anyone build or upgrade a coal fired power station when there is policy and regulatory uncertainty? Every big decision seems to be made when Govt needs to approve a development. It's policy on the fly.

For a developed nation, we have been lacking in leadership and policy direction on climate matters. Give industry some basic rules and they'll be able to navigate.

Whoah, dude. A few people well and truly flipped during Covid, Pete Evans, that long-haired Scottish guy that did the documentaries... Covid was a hard time for everyone, and it's aftermath is still emerging.

Are you sure you're ok? There is support out there if you need to reach out and talk about what you're carying with you about those times.
Im fine ... it was just an example

But i get that the people who got on their high horses and slung the most shit at those of us who didnt agree, then all got sick the same way, are now the most adamant to pretend none of it never happened cos it didnt pan out how they were so sure it would

Good to hear. It was the murderer bit that made me genuinely enquire.

Interesting take, but you're entitled to it.

When you sell a business these days, you almost always include all intellectual property. It could be as complex as trademarks, patents down to logos, domain names etc. Yes it can crucially include social media accounts.

Recently satirical publishers Onion bought Infowars lock stock and barrel, yet Leon has other ideas and is trying to cock block the legitimate transfer of the X account. Why ? Well, he has simply taken the RWNJ side. A year 9 legal studies student understands the premise that a court appointed mortgagee in possession or (in this case) the Trustee of the bankrupt estate of the gay frog guy has full right to dispose of all assets.

X hosts the account, I am not sure how he could claim ownership, but then again I don't think it's about ownership, it's probably more about censorship.

SMH which is a Right leaning paper is saying that the power outages is from the aging coal fire power stations needing to be shut down for maintaince.

SMH is right leaning? Do their editorial staff and contributors know this?

Then again, I suppose that it is a matter of perspective, much like how the ALP seems right wing to a greens voter or Gronk.

Just to backup my claim

Were not going to make it through the summer if everytime there is a 38 degree day were being told to conserve power and been told not to run the dishwasher or washing machines.

Like if Sydney has one major power blackout from this heat because there power systems can't cope there is going to be hell to pay across the board and both sides of politics will be getting a lot of questions asked over this.

Like our electricity bills are going up all the time and there now telling us we may not have systems in place now to cope with a 37-38 degree day.

Its unacceptable and a disgrace really.

We haven't got to December yet and already people are being made to feel on edge over possible power blackouts.

That the thing,

The goverment, (both sides) sold off power generation, and as such can't manage it.

Then if you look at our Coal fired generation matrix, it is managed by 4 different companies.

12 Coal Fired power stations managed by 4 companies, and of those 12 stations 4 were either down for maintenance or emergency repair.

Do you live in a bubble ? Peter Costello was chair of nine until recently.

Dumb assumptions. I voted for Gladys not too long ago. Go back to trolling Pou.

Yes

The ALP is more central that people think, they are attacked by the green's the same way they attacked the LNP when in government. It is clear to see the Greens are more a party of pushing agendas then a party of government which the ALP is.

The Greens set goals that would be great for 3 terms in office and expect it to be done in less than one and to hell with the consequences. I have known many members of the Greens and heard about party meetings, most of them have to dissolve without resolutions being passed because debates are reduced to shouting matches and tears. They are not a party of government and will never be.
