Yes its not funny..

But it's funny that Labor are using the Libs trick of throwing mud instead of actually trying to help the people..

Take this Medicare policy Albo wants to bring in if he wins.... Not like anyone is stopping him doing it now?
which one got more media coverage?
Medicare change would need a budget approval I assume - which is due soon

He does deliver in a smug, aggressive manner. However what you can’t fault him for is the size of his kahunas. After exposing certain representative associations, dodgy politicians etc he was set upon by a newly formed just for him and niw disbanded NSW Police fixated persons unit and then this..

I agree I called out the corruption wish more people would do that! I also wish he wasn't leaning to one side as there is corruption on both sides and it's annoying when there isn't anyone out there that doesn't have a side they lean to...

We all know which one got more coverage that's the problem.

And the budget approval apparently isn't happening as the election will be called before.

Why isn't dental on Medicare btw

think budge will depend on the election date - apparent Budget is due March 25. If election is is May then they need to do the budget - earlier then they don't

would support that - I suppose besides costs they would have to get the dental lobby group on board

Why are you acting surprised that each party are doing what everyone has always done in elections ?

They call each other out and make promises* Have you been asleep ?

* They kiss babies too, but I wouldn't recommend that Dutton does that.

Anyone with half a brain can see Dutton is nowhere near Trump-like, but you Lefties are desperate to paint him as some sort of anti-Christ. In case you deluded fools have'nt noticed, the World is lurching decidedly Right as a reaction to all your Lefty bullshit. All this shit re Dutton is just a prelude to Albo announcing the election date this weekend.

Yeah, The right were apparently taking over the free world when Trump, Boris, and Scotty were all in.

Nek minute - Womp Womp.

Thing is "lefty bullshit" tends to be culture warrior shit that literally affects next to no merkin in their everyday life.

He has been critical of labor and unions in the past, but he definitely leans left.

Do you think his small media presence counters the massive leaning to the right by Murdoch, Stokes etc ?

Other than only having had just under three years to see what the (evolving) cost of living problem the Libs economy left him with, and needing to have the forward expenditure passed in a (usually) May Budget...

Compared to the 12 years before that where the dithering Libs could have done the same Medicare policy they've so speedily "matched" to avoid scrutiny on themselves and their record in government.

Dutton will do it. Oh wait, he's going to build government owned nuclear power stations at the cost of $350-750 billion.

How is he going to pay for that ? Easy, what does his government have a fundamental objection to ? Social housing, welfare, medicare, NDIS and free education.

I think that is the thing here
the current LNP is basically the same as the lot that were in there for 9 years and everyone got sick of. There hasn't been any renewal there
If they get back in, there is nothing to suggest that they won't just pick up where Scotty left off

I thinks it's funny now that Labor doing it, it's ok

Labor tarda would be losing their minds on twitter if it was the other way around.

I am happy for them both to throw mud shows they aren't really capable of leading to his country.

I don't know as I can think of a policy taken to an election by an incumbent government that couldn't have been "done before"

sans Scotty.

There's like a magic thing that when you f**k off the chief useless merkins, all the other useless merkins (that made him chief) aren't useless merkins anymore.

Red Herring Argument.

Focus on the big things that affect people.

I often ask how much does the war in Gazza actually effect the vote, people on the left have been critical of Albo for not coming out and supporting Gaza and standing up to Isreal et al. but how does that issue actually affect the average voting punter?

As I have said and now truly believe after the voice vote, Australians only vote for someone when they get something out of it. The cost of living is the biggest one but taking actual left leaning action (price limited on goods etc) won't be meet well by the press, as it will be seen as hurting the thrifty small business owner, just trying to scrape out a living, or on the flip side the effect on super when Woollies and Coles stocks drop because they can't deliver a dividend.
