RIP Terri Garr, best known for her roles in 70s and 80s movies such as Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, Young Frankenstein and Tootsie. I quite liked her cameo in Martin Scorsese's 1985 movie The After Hours.

RIP Super producer / arranger / composer Quincy Jones. 91 a good innings and an incredible career, from producing Lesley Gore, Michael Jackson to jazz funk movie soundtracks and his most famous Soul Bossa Nova being featured in the Austin Powers movie and was sampled numerous times. I played this when word came through that we'd re-signed Braydon Trindall.

Nice one, tai. You can hear his influence on both of those songs, and how they have stood the test of time.

Shel Talmy also produced a great London mod band The Creation, who are also well worth checking out if you're not aware of them. Similar sound to the Who and early Kinks.
