Sorry, I can't go for any side coached by Goose.

I'm looking forward to next year when it is back to QLD Vs NSW and the QLD Vs Goose is gone.

Lesser of 2 evils for me.

To be honest I probably won't even watch it.

Dunno 'bout that PJ, once Goose goes, we get his little puppet, Stewart. Just as bad if you ask me.

Stuart, to me, doesn't have the ego and the constant need to have it all about him.

Sure he's a bit of a knob but he doesn't carry on as much as Goose and he is no where near as much a hypocrite as Goose.

I'll be able to cheer the Blues again next year.

But then again I suppose Gus achieved what he set out for. He wanted to intill the passion back into SOO. He managed to get most of Qld to hate him and the Blues it's just that he als alienated a fair part of NSW as well.

I'm sure I'm not the only ex-pat New South Welshman with mixed feelings over tonight.

I really can't go for the Maroons, but how can I cheer for a team coached by Goose and full of Rooters and Dragons?

Maybe I'll hope for a close NSW win, marred only by season-ending injuries to all their personnel inside the last minute.

How funny would it be if the ref cost the Blues the game after Goose had the last ref punted

What was your highlight Hulka?
Were you there when miss pink was getting photos with all of the boys & she sat on their laps?

On the State of "Bore"igin, when can it get back to picking the best playte rin that position rather than the best player that this player plays with.
In the end, would anybody in NSW or QLD care if the selectors gave it a real crack of selecting the best players & left personal preference & bias & combinations out of it?

Barret, Timmins, Gasnier, Cooper. That was how the line spread to the left tonight.
Why didnt they just pick St George? Or the Roosters?
They would have beaten QLD purely through combinations.
It just makes no sense.
Rep = reward for being the best player in that position in the league, irrespective of who the coach & selectors are or who you are playing along side.
The league has to return to this code of ethics before it becomes a laughing stock.

while i agree with you reefy

it certainly was effective selecting in terms of winning the game

though i think nsw were always going to win i think qld are entitled to be upset over a few disasterous calls by the ref

like the early spear tackle and what really should have been a penalty try with 1 in the sin bin

Willie Mason is the man! :p

Well, not really but that run was the moment of the night behind Fittler's try! What a play!

Does anyone know if there is a replay on the telly?
Watched it at the ground, but would like to see it on the telly as well...
