Coaches mate. He burns coaches and his record speaks for itself. Why coaches you ask? Because they are the one that get all the attention with media and fans and he needs to try to control that. Cannot handle being sidelined...but won’t expose himself to the flames of criticism of being head coach himself. So build them up, knock them down, rescue them, repeat until they are ‘tired’ and can’t hack it like the great Gus could.

GM had the audacity to do what Gus couldnt.
Get the rorts to do something and win a title.

Wasnt even invited to the end of year awards ball for the club he coached.

He also had the audacity to threaten fittler with the sack as he wouldnt train and was a bad influence.
Freddy got his act together but GMs papers were marked.

Don't underestimate the bond between Freddy and Gus.
The blues job was freddys thanx to Gus and if you saw the hard hitting interview on 9 last nite where they rolled out a pedestal fo Gus to stand and preach his response you wouldve noticed freddys tongue down tbe back of Gus"s trousers as he backed him on every lie.
