OT: If you think we got it bad......here is the worst kick chase in history

Was watching some American football today. Absolutely lost it when I saw what this guy did. The guy who picks up the ball is on the kicking team, and he should be running from right to left on the screen.

I'm speechless....reminds me of George Peponis diving to score a try, and finally realising he'd jumped over the 10 metre line.

Yeh, many of the guys on the field for punts spent 90% of their game time in that role.....that is, they play both on the returning team and kicking team....and don't spend much time in 'normal' play. This poor bloke (on debut) somehow forgot that he was on the kicking team.....but the fact that the opposition tackled him instead of shadowing him all the way back to his own end zone is absolute gold. They had to chase him (in case he turned around).

yeah - my first thought was they were chasing him to make him go further - but then they tackled him :lol:
