OT. Johnny Howard contacts the tube.

Associate member & avid fan of the tube, Johnny Howard, contacted some tube members asking their thoughts on best possible dates to call a national election.
After consultation, the tube responded with a unanimous decision that this Saturday would be a good day.
Get everyone whilst they are in a good mood & with a full pay packet.
Not sure if he will take the advice.
He also wanted to know who we had signed.

Mmmh, I was speaking to Independend Peter Andren a week or two ago, he was totally convinced that August 7 would be it, but today on Radio he said that he thought September looked more likely. According to Andren though, there is only one weekend available in Sept, and then again in October.

Bear in mind, the election doesn't actually NEED to be held until about April '05. But why would Costcutto be throwing all this money around if the poll wasn't coming soon... :?

Seriously though I don't think the election will be on Saturday 7th of August, that's the day the Wallabies play the Kiwis.
I don't think that Little Johnny Howard would call an election on that day, there will be no photo oppurtunities.............., we can't have that........

But August 7 is another reason why it COULD be called, with the Wallabies playing, people wont have their minds on getting rid of the government.
