Got nothing against the bloke. He's set himself up. But I bet his right knee isn't the only thing thats been hurting since October.

Justin had a bit of Jason Ryles in him. Give away silly penalties at critical moments in games

Was never a true top line prop anyway, glad we didn't pay overs to keep him, although I think Bennett would have made him a better player had he stayed.

Poore made a poor choice to chase money instead of glory.
Money is always there to be earnt....but glory is what you have to earn.

You can't blame the guy for taking what the Eels were offering him.. I thought he played well for us especially in his last year which ultimately led to the massive Eels offer. Good luck to the bloke.. Watching the RED V become 2010 Chamions would have been very hard for him!!

To be fair he did change his mind but it was too late, Wayne wouldn't have it. He basically made an example out of him to the rest of the squad

Got a source for that claim, Dragon?

Yeah my brother in law works in the mines with Poores bro.

Also this article talks about how Bennett put an end to the negotiations

Also

The Dragons offer was significantly less - about $280,000 per season - and their unwillingness to negotiate is understood to be a major frustration for the Helensburgh junior and his manager Todd Buckingham.
However, Poore did not want to elaborate on the contract or about talks he'd had with Parramatta coach Daniel Anderson before agreeing to terms.
He also did not want to discuss speculation that Dragons coach Wayne Bennett and chief executive Peter Doust had grown tired of the drawn-out battle for his signature and had delivered an ultimatum to Poore.

Basically what i was told is that Wayne made him an offer, he thought he could negotiate more out of the Dragons but Wayne said cya. Poore even agreed to take the initial offer but Bennett said no

jmoz left for the opportunity. Poore was a starting prop who made State of Origin team whilst at saints. He had no reason to leave other than the money.

Josh had to leave as he wasn't going to be a starting player at our club.

I feel sorry for poore with his injury, however he flushed his career down the dunny when he left. We wont see him in rep scene again. Its about momentum. He left the club that gave him the momentum and its bitten him well and truly in the ass.

FYI i think we have better props now in weyman and merrin.

f**k Poore. He was offered a very decent deal to stay at the club that developed him. Money was more important to him than success so bad luck. I hope his bad luck continues for the rest of his time at that piss weak club. Gave up the opportunity to learn under the greatest ever coach to earn a few extra bucks under a coach that was sacked in Poores first year.

Poore got what he deserved.

That doesn't surprise me. I will never forget the press conference where he stood in for the captain after we got hammered and was asked what the Dragons needed to do to turn it around. He answered "I guess we better start listening to the coach".
