I've never been a fan of Gutho either really. The Eels look like we were a few years ago, good enough to make the 8 but no real impact in big games. Difference with us is we've had a really good group of young players coming through, starting to see what the future looks like with us. Eels going backwards, again.

Just a little rant here. I was watching the Tiges Eels game last night and lasted to half time. The choice of a warm bed or watching the 2nd half resulted in my turning the league off. Then I remembered that the yawnion test was on so I'd get a score update.

Just as I turn over the aussie outside back attempted to take an intercept as the Poms were attacking.

I think it was about two minutes later and 49 far can replays officialdom Yawnion style was still trying to come to a decision..... did he try and go for an intercept or did he commit a cardinal sin of deliberately knocking the pill on.

I know our bunker is shit but the Yawnion version is absolute bullshit.

Silly me I thought, why did I even bother to check in on the Yawnion ..... click went the power button and off to 'me' noice warm bed.

Parra’s bash and barge style of footy has been found out by the good teams. Sure they might hav knocked off Penrith and Melbourne but they won’t hold a candle to them in the finals

Mahoney is a huge loss for them in 2023, and they’ve replaced him with Josh Hodgson who turns 33 in October. I’d hate to see how much Gutho and Moses are on between them, they couldn’t even find room to keep Mahoney because of the huge extension for RCG


poor planning there and poor cap management will see them slip slide down the ladder next season

Really?

If I was Eels fan I would be far from impressed where my team is currently at with their football.

But again Parramatta are a bit of a media favourite and they want to see them in the top 4 more than the Sharks trust me.

Massive massive fan base in that important corridor of the West.
Even though they are currently just making up the numbers the talk has to be positive.
