Yeah poor merkin is on a hiding to nothing. Doesn't have the natural ability to take a game by the scruff of the neck. Reminds me a lot of Chad...with the right players around he'll do a job albeit tediously. Trouble is the Dogs don't have the cattle to help him through the process.I actually feel sorry for the poor kid.
He's been kicked in the guts plenty over the past couple of years.
From the outside looking in, the Dogs have treated him very poorly.
In and out of the side with no explanation as to why.
Barrett apparently just brushing him in the sheds and at training.
After the way he was shown the door at the Rooters you'd have to think all of that on top would have him shot to bits.

From flannos point of view there’s no pressure. Everyone is expecting him to fail. If flanno fails, it’s the dogs fault for chucking him to wolves and not letting him train with squad/get trial time. If he succeeds, it’s the dogs fault he wasnt there earlier.Yeah interesting selection definitely. Flanno is on a hiding to nothing in this match, he was given 15 minutes at the end with the kids in the trial match. Really much like an after thought for Barrett. Things haven't gone to plan (who would have thought) at the Dogs so now they are mixing it up. Glad it's not my club.
Hooks gotta be up there too. Makes me laugh though that he's practically doing the same thing that Mary was doing, chopping and changing positions. Instils great confidence in your young players to drop them after a few close losses, only to be flogged senseless at the hands of the Eels. Priceless.Barrett is simply the most clueless coach around and that's saying plenty when he's got Kevvie for competition , he must pick his halves each week by picking marbles out of a bag .
The irony is he was the attacking coach at the Panthers..lol,in regards to Flanno actually I feel sorry for the guy the way the bulldogs have treated him is appalling.Barrett is simply the most clueless coach around and that's saying plenty when he's got Kevvie for competition , he must pick his halves each week by picking marbles out of a bag .
Barrett picks Flanno who fails due to not being in main squad.
Barrett sacked by June
He's always come across like a dipshit and not played much better, doesn't help having his dad in his (and everyone's) ear though. Seems like either he needs to play with his dad as coach, or move out of home cut the umbilical cord, grow the f**k up..
Saying that the Dogs were rudderless on Sunday, throwing the ball around in weird panics.. Kyle's main skill is sticking to a dumb ass simple unsurprising game plan and maybe that'll help the dogs move straight for at least 3 tackles.. much the same as what Chad brought to the Cows (though that has some fkn limitations as last week showed).
Agree with the above about him having a go at the Hastings route.. if the rumours about Leeds entertaining Flanno X 2 as coach and halfback (if they don't get relegated geez) then why not? Three years maybe over there, big crowds for some added pressure with no Penrith's or Melbourne's to run into and see how he goes on his return...
