I wouldn't wish this level of ineptitude on any club. I imagine players will be questioning what sort of idiot organization they signed up with.

If you’re not playing on Anzac Day, you shouldn’t need an Anzac (or in the West Tigers case Operation Desert Storm) jersey.

The extension & commercialisation of Anzac Day cheapens it..

My 5c
Agree. Maybe it’s time the NRL and clubs find other ways to recognise certain causes and commemorations.

Manlys pride round jersey was a huge debacle. It wasn’t that long ago they were wearing iron man and other marvel jerseys. Very cheap and overdone.

Every time I think it’s hard being a Dragons supporter I watch a Tigers game. From CEO to players they are a total basket case. I remember watching their chairman interviewEd on TV last year and he couldn’t even have been bothered to shave for it - he looked like he’d been sleeping on a bench in Hyde Park. The whole organisation is run by rank amateurs who are accountabLe to no one and give new meaning to the word “inept” with every year that passes.

Not to take away from a well deserved pile on for the magpies, something about this Anzac offer from our club smells funny..

Just screams opportunistic..

And is it an NRL driven thing? It’s got their stupid version of our logo on the sleeve, not the regular club logo.. Plus has the NRL branding on the other arm..

Marketed as a “commemorative” T-shirt but (outside of the 3 key words) the only thing it looks like it’s commemorating is the game itself..

And it doesn’t say on the club website how much (if any) of the sale goes to assisting returned service folk or their families.

Given the price, I’d expect there to be a decent chunk going as a donation, not to line the club or NRL’s coffers..

What’s the price? I hear you ask..

$50.

I have to let someone much smarter than me voice my feelings on that:

Macklemore said:
I'm like, "Yo, that's fifty dollars for a T-shirt."
Limited edition, let's do some simple addition
Fifty dollars for a T-shirt - that's just some ignorant ***** shit
I call that getting swindled and pimped shit
I call that getting tricked by a business
