Johnston signed up as a winger to replace Nightingale I don't mind at all. There is no way he will be looked at for fullback, not with how highly the club rate Jai Field and with how well Dufty is progressing in NSW Cup.

Don't take these reports seriously guys. Most of them i've read so far have appalling grammar and spelling, if you're prepared to accept that as professional journalism then go right ahead, just don't share it here and expect not to get slammed.

I'd rather them sign Mann to replace nighty if nightingale is indeed retiring.

I wouldn't knock back Alex Johnston if he were available, he'd be very dangerous running off the likes of Widdop, Hunt and Lafai. This guy knows how to sniff out tries that's for sure....he's not as complete a player as Nighty but he's a really dangerous attacking player.....

Yea he sure would, be but if the reported figure of 700 big ones is correct then I'm not interested. He ain't that good imho.

Has anyone actually read these "articles" on the Johnston rumours? They've all been posted by completely illegitimate sources with an abundance of grammatical errors. Not one hard hitting media outlet has reported on this, the figures and the length of the contract have been completely made up from nothing.

Johnston is not the answer for the Dragons. Mitchell from the Roosters would be a good pickup. Can play centre, fullback, five-eighth and wing. He and Mann are invaluable when we have injuries during a game. They can slot into most positions in the backline.

Sign Mann, Lafai, Mitchell and Milne and with our young guns coming through like Dufty, Field, Garrick, Herbert, Masters and Morris, we have enough competitions without cap problems. It is pretty obvious that Millward is not going to buy a marquee fullback, so why not go with Mitchell before someone else grabs him.

Seeing as he is our "new winger" have you got a copy of the contract yet?
We need all the details released so we have as clear a picture about his coming as Dugan's going.
If this bloke doesn't come as heralded by you then the last game of the season you have to do a streak at the game so you will be banned forever.
