Our Trip to Melbourne

Olympic Park

- Crappy ground. Too far from the action, too many mexicans.
- They only serve Toohey's New - in Melbourne!
- They had no eftpos or ATM facilities. You have to walk back to the MCG to get money out.

Storm Mascot

- This bloke is a total flogbag. If he ever steps foot in Sydney he should be slapped.
- Did anyone see him swinging the tiger around his head, running back and forward over the tiger in his four wheeler and worst of all wiping the tiger on his arse.

Dirty bastard  No respect from that News Limited scum of a club.

Casino

- Seeing Tommy, Andrew Leeds, Cherry and Hodgo in the bar was sweet for an old magpie supporter!
- Getting asked by a thousand AFL supporters if Richmond won that night because we had Tigers scarves on

Not a bad weekend except for the loss.

Me and my 12 year old son traveled from SW NSW(a five hour drive) and were disgusted at the antics of the mascot. My son was quite put off by the incident. The idiot actually ran over the tiger in front of the players as they walked off. I was talking with some Storm long term supporters and they were also put off and embarassed at the antics. I told them to wait until they get beaten by us in Sydney and see what we had planned but thought we would not stoop that low. There is no need for this sort of crap and I am sending a message to the Storm of my disgust. The other thing that irked us on the night was seeing a couple of very high profile Storm players( 1 & 7) ignore 6 year old children for autos. No wonder the game has a big time stuggle down south.

And I've got stripes across my heart

That right there, would have just been worth the trip down in itself. The last flight of the Magpies. Good to see they all still keep in touch. Close bunch of mates those Maggies from the final few years.

King - I think you must have had 20 schooners before writing that post

Seriously - the mascot sounds a real wanker, but I am more disgusted by the Storm players knocking back any young kids asking them for an autograph - disgraceful!!
You think they would need every fan they can get.....
