Every year I am gobsmacked at how people with no talent what so ever seem to think they have a shot.

can some tell me if that asian dude who played Imagine what serious?

Once they weed out the deadest of the deadwood the show goes downhill for me

Yeah he sang "somewhere over the rainbow" as well.

He had to be a gee up, it was brilliant.

The guy who said he had a Daihatsu charade and did the John Farnham song was too obviously a joke and wasn't as funny.

I actually dont think the vast majority of these people believe they have a shot.

I think most of them go on there to see if they can get onto tv.
By watching the show, you're encouraging them.

They trotted out one of the people who presumably made it past this stage of the process to sing before a Panthers game a few weeks ago. He was sh*t.

I love the fools who go and audition...gives me hope that my mundane life is actually more realistic than these people.

I once knew a girl who didn't make it past the first stage. She was on one of the episodes in tears. Pretty sure she was a singer/performer her whole life before that...shattered...

I for one, have not seen the show for a few years and only used to watch the first few episodes to see the shockers have a go. The amount of duds that have a crack truely astounds me. I understand some are trying to get on TV and doing it for a laugh but the genuines are hopeless...
