Who else has been to paintball before?

I went recently with a group of people, but thankfully the one I went to you got a suit which helped stoped the bruising, although I got my girlfriends sister on the leg and no joke it's about the size of 4 50 Cent coins, it's huge and its just blue, pink, purple and red - it looks so bad.

I felt bad after that though, but all it all it was awesome it was good fun played for almost 3 hours.

I got hit a few times, a couple of times in the head too

Not legally old enough yet, but it looks fun as. Few of my older mates have tried it and they say if you don't mind the odd bruise it's mad fun.

Where do you live?

in Queensland where I went anyhow, as long as someone over 18 signs it's fine and you can play.

The odd bruise can hurt in paintball, but it's all fun doesn't kill you.

You should go give it a go, just take someone along a friend even who is over 18.

That New South Wales?

Weird if it is true - someone older just signs a consent form to cover the company from law suits, such as death and extremely bad injuries etc.

Yeah you do, one of my mates who is the same age tried to slip them a $20 and got kicked out.

Might suss it out next year :D

Well obviously if he had to resort to slipping the owner a $20 then yes I'd assume they ask for ID. ;-)

I can understand their position though, if you're over 18 you are responsible for yourself so no matter what happens out there, it's your own fault. But if little 15 year old jimmy goes paintballing and somehow sustains a serious injury from it, the paintballing place is liable.

Yeah, I understand.

But, if somone over 18 signs saying they will be reliable for what happends etc ...its not there fault.

But meh, I'm not arguing about stupid paintball...

If they get a bad injury, hurt themselves or even killed during there time, so if someone over 18 signs - it won't be the company's fault because of what they signed.

The page that had to be signed where I went to, just went on about you can't take them to court, if someone gets hurt or killed its not their fault etc.

I know, I was just pointing out that it should be liable, not reliable :p

i went for a mates bucks party, make sure you purchase a hector protector! when were lining up for gear, they asked us if we wanted one... being macho and all, we all said no, so they showed us a photo of some guys bruised and swollen testicles and then we pulled out our wallets.

Sorry, My Bad!

They didn't ask us where we went, although half way during the game when we got out breaks I saw the sign if you wanted to buy one $5.50.

I didn't use one in the game, but I know the pain it could have caused, and Ouch!

I should use one next time though.
