Pakis did well with the ball, restricting Lanka to 132, but then quite epically failed with the bat, all out for 95. Hafeez got out for a golden duck and it was all down hill from there. The next one is tomorrow night. I'm not sure if I'll watch it, but I will be interested in the result. It will be the second and final T20 in this series. First ODI will be this Thursday

I reckon we'll use the same thread for all the limited overs matches in this series and each of the tests can have it's own thread.

Pakistan squared the T20I series and now that is over. Both sides batting below par in that. Pakistan made 122, Afridi made 52 not out in that. Kulasekara had some good bowling figures. Sri Lanka were all out for 99 including 11 sundries, not one of the Lankans reached 20.

The T20 nonsense is over, 5 match ODI series coming up

great start for the Pakis, git rid of Dilshan and Jayawardene. Gul took both wickets and has been bowling really well. 4 overs, 1 maiden 7 runs, 2 wickets.

Sri LAnka 17/2 after 7

this one finished a very low scoring match and Pakis won on Duckworth Lewis. Lots of rain affected the match. Nothing particularly notable that I can think of, 2nd ODI is this evening

Sri Lanka took a 76 run win to level the series. Pakis were decent with the ball but crappy with the bat.

Perera had a superb night with the ball taking a personal best 6 wickets he did it for 44 runs and Pakis were all out after 46.2 overs

third one started during origin. Pakistan won the toss and elected bat, but really did not start well and were 12/2 after 6.2 overs, since then there has been a rain delay of over 3 and a half hours

Pakistan were chasing 244 and started well, but ended dismally and have just about conceded this ODI series,.I have no doubt they will perform better in the tests though

Before last night, they were saying that Jayawardene may be leading Sri Lanka till at least mid 2013. I thought Mathews showed some class in Australia and last night he proved that he is leadership material

Don't want to give Mathews too much to do at this early stage, given that he is a genuine all-rounder. Let Jayawardene handle it, I have no issues with seniors leading the way and he's the best man for it.

I agree that Jayawardene is the best man for it, but I got the sense that his current stint was always only meant to be temporary and that he didn't exactly want the captaincy but just did it for the good of the team

First test started today and Sri Lanka are killing it. They won the toss and elected to bat. About 14 overs left in the day. Dilshan made a century today and Sangakkara is close to completing one. Sri Lanka 269/2
