Your 3,2,1 for last night's game against the Bulldogs.

Vote for your 3 best PENRITH players on the night!!!

The Rhino will collate all votes.

As with last year, all votes will be added up, then divided by the number of voters to get an overall 3,2,1. Should 2 or more players tie on votes, then a countback of the most 3 point votes will decide who gets the 3,2,1's.

3 Points - Joel Clinton
2 Points - Luke Rooney
1 Points - Paul Aiton

It's a pity most of our team played like crap. We had a few guys out their that were brilliant.

I fail to see why Clinton was massively impressive.

he defended well but he still ran like a cat.

He made 8 hitups all night. Woopdi-do. The best props in hte game are making 12+. Still not good enough for the money he is on imo.

Tony Puletua imo didn't do that much either. He looks slower than he has been, i'm hoping for a much better season than last from the big man.

3 - Luke Lewis - Made some good reads in defence and tried his best in attack
2 - Luke Rooney - Ran the ball hard, defended well and was showing signs of 2004, not yet 2003.
1 - Joel Clinton - Still did well, but wasn't our best player

Honey, I know some of the Sharks players might look like bulldogs but we haven't played the Bulldogs yet so how can we vote?

He was smashing guys in defence and other then him, our pack was pretty much dominated when we attacked. We failed to complete a lot of sets or get the majority of possession for him to make more hit-ups.

He could have done more, sure. But he was still our best. My opinion ofcourse, but he was a stand-out in our team.

as I said...he did well defensively.

But 8 hitups for a prop of his quality is just unacceptable.

He wants to be a leader, then he needs to lead the way for the younger and more inexperienced players.

IMO he wasn't best on ground.

He was glorified for a shocking season last year, because he was the best mediocre player in a mediocre bunch, while Rooney who didn't contribute to his demise got absolutely shat on.

IMO I judged Round 1 based on improvement. Because noone deserved points. The most improved player out there...was Luke Rooney.

I've struggled since Saturday night to come up with a 3-2-1 in what we all know was a below par performance.

Based purely on what I thought from watching the game live at the ground and not from what I have read since, including the official stats out of the game I've gone for;

3 points - Joel Clinton. I was surprised by his stats because I thought he tried hard.

2 points - Luke Rooney. Never looked like making a break but was a willing workhorse.

1 points - Rhys Wesser. Didnt make a break but the only one who looked capable.

Would have been a lot easier awarding points for a couple of non-performers as there were a couple of absolute standouts there!
