On the back of their premiershi win the panthers are doing their bit to try and promote the game internationally, while also serving their own selfish purposes.

Currently they have (or are about to have) a junior development squad touring england. While they have also announced plans to have a one off hit out against a french side prior to the world club challenge (did the roosters do that last year? I know they complained alot about not being able to play a super league as a warm up, but cant remember if they took the french option.)

Great expectations, but did it really happen.....was there a French team to play against or just ex pats with a current visa, or does playing league west of Parramatta count as international league these days.

France, whilst being west of Parramatta, is west of the Indian Ocean as well, thus putting it beyond the national boundaries of Australia. Do they not do geography in public schools?
