PANTHERS SIGN NEW SHORTS SPONSOR

Jan 30 -

The Panthers have signed Sydney property developers JLB Group as their new shorts sponsor.

The deal is for two years.

JLB Group's logo will appear on both front and back of players’ shorts.

“We have sold this sponsorship for substantially more than we got for it last year and this
demonstrates the interest the Panthers are now generating in the corporate area,” Penrith CEO
Shane Richardson said today.

Asked why he had signed a sponsorship deal with Penrith, JLB Group’s owner and managing
director, James Bezzina replied: “With the Panthers having won the Grand Final last year, this year
is sure to see a lot of interest around the team. It will be a successful year and JLB Group is looking
forward to being involved in this partnership.

“Also, Penrith is growing at a rapid rate and there is a lot of opportunity in the area,” he said. “Last
year's results show what a team can do when all members pull together.

“The community spirit also backing the team was amazing to watch. JLB group is looking forward to
being part of that community this year.”

JLB Group is a property development and construction company which strives to provide their buyers
with modern living at reasonable prices. Their approach to design is liveability and staying away from
the ‘box in the sky’ approach to current design concepts.

Well, that's a good mission statement for a developer in this day of age. Anything but Meriton is a good thing these days...

As a graduate town planner, this is something that I will be neck deep in over the next 20-30 years - increased density in development. It's going to happen everywhere in Sydney, because of the lack of land left to develop and a growing population.

By the way, welcome aboard. Looking quite healthy with the sponsorship now.

I reckon the Crazy Johns logo looked better on the shorts than this one.

That's all i care about! What logo looks the best on the shorts. 8)
