We gave a few new players a run and tested our depth in the second half, lost the lead but saw some good signs.
Meanwhile Brisbane's loss to Wynnum-Manly proves they have zero depth beyond the top 17. You better hope you don't get any injuries.

Trial scorelines mean nothing.

Trials give an indication of players fitness, especially those returning from serious injury or surgery.

They provide an opportunity to try players in different positions and different combinations.

The only concern I have as a long term supporter and follower of the game is a lack up punch in attack up the middle. With Docker still to return, I don't think defence will be an issue, and we have plenty of talent and pace out wide.
