First time Hindy has ever made a fair point.

Also doesn't change the fact that Parra suck and will never go anywhere with Moses and King Nuffo

That's unfair. Agree or not he's shown to have put thought in and not just being emotional
I'm not the one being emotional here. To say that we have a soft draw, maybe we do, however, our road trip will begin so enough. Our team is far superior, with better players, and coaching staff.

Let's say Parra come put and beat you on your home turf. You may question how good you are right?
I wouldn't touch you at $1.22 favourites. Imo terrible bet.

I'm warming to an under strength eels side breaking your record.

If Penrith did win 20+ which is not out of the equation I'd almost put a line thru the eels. As much as you guys think 2023 is a rebuild I reckon we will be in dire straits till about 2026 after this season.

I admit I feel I over rated Gutho last year. For a very short period he was in the top 4 fullbacks in game. But where is he now? I'd say about 6-7th.
And with young guns at Brisbane, Saints, Tigers, Warriors coming through I few by 2024 he will be outside the top 10 and on close to 800k with RCG and JNR. This is why I feel after this season we will be f**ked.
Nobody on the Eels forum listens to me. Pisses me off but I can see the future.

Nope not at all.

I don't think Cleary is playing his best yet
To'o back
Leota back after long lay off
Tago making rookie errors

We have been winning and are the best side in the comp but for the most part I would give us 7/10 we have been in 2nd gear.

We will stay in 2nd gear and blow you guys off the park still.

We've got three sets of back to back away games, the first starting after this game. Four weeks between home games after round 13 due to the Origin 2 weekend.

We have won our last 7 games away. At

Mackay
Brisbane
Brisbane
Kogarah
Bathurst
Parramatta
Gold Coast

As for this year. We have left Sydney twice

Roosters the same
Manly yet to leave this state

That is how it works with Sydney teams. Across the year it will even out

I never said you were emotional.

He said our draw so far which is correct. It'll even out over the year and then no one will have an excuse as to why we were the far superior team.

I'm stating facts....
Saints,Knights,Titans,Brisbane,Raiders Bulldogs.

Along with Manly and Souths.

5 of those at home. It's been a soft draw I feel. They travelled to Gold Coast. And only time had to leave Sydney.Actualy you did go to Bathurst which for Newcastle would of been a nightmare getting there.

Compare it to the Eels.

They've been down to Melbourne, Trip to Newcastle, Up to the Gold Coast and also Darwin. Forgetting who they've played it is a lot of travelling around. So every 2nd week travelled.

Yes you can only play what's infront of you. And it's a 2 horse race atm. But I am just stating facts. I expect Panthers to keep beating the better sides also.

You need to look at when the draw was done. Not where the teams sit now

You took a game to Darwin so it cancels it out

We end up playing

Melbourne
Cowboys
GC
Warriors
Canberra
Newcastle

All away...All will be wins to us

Ffs. No.
To be fair what's a hard game anyhows? Bar the top 2 everyone's been average

Not worth the argument Hindy...

I think we are very short odds this week. I still think we get the points but Parra are physical and stick it to us which can trouble us at times. Should be a great game.

I don't think there's much between Penesini (?) and Tago at all. Penesini has been much more consistent, Tago seems to be more explosive. Two quality young players with a ton of potential.

Round 1 of SG Ball 2020

Pensini was centre
Tago lock

That is the difference we are seeing now. Tago lacking some basics of a centre

Soft Draw?? - we played 2 teams from last years top 4.

Other than Melbourne or maybe Cronulla, there are no teams playing well enough to say that it is going to be a tough game.

Parra, Souths, Manly, Roosters - all playing below their best right now. A loss to any of these teams would be concidered an upset.

Its a weird year like that. So many teams going backwards and none really improving on last year (Cows and Sharks maybe)

Tago needs to address his ball retention skills, it’s pretty basic stuff, can’t afford him coughing the ball one or twice every game.

The NRL draw is far from perfect, as is any draw where you cannot accomodate a full home and way draw. It is what it is, sometimes perhaps it works in your favour and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s not something that can be used a an excuse, measuring stick, gauge or whatever, it is flawed but it isn’t going to change anytime soon so we just have to accept for all its imperfections.

I think Friday night shapes up a one of the games of the season.

Forget the Eels terrible performance in Darwin, this is the battle of the west even if they are still a little down on troops I’m expecting them to put up a really tough fight.

Time for us to make a statement and put on a really solid 80 minutes, and improve our attack considerably on what we have seen in recent weeks.

Winning has been great, but it has been on the back of our defence, our attack to me, has been clunky, a bit unconvincing.

Full house, with plenty of blue and gold, put them to the sword and make a statement going into magic round against the Storm.
