It's more than Crichton coming good. The whole attitude of the team has changed. Good recruitment as well, Barrett and Korisau have been excellent purchases.

And it's a very unique comp. Unforeseen changes with covid and that crazy decision on six again rulings. Easily the best season of Rugby League in a very long time.

Ivan the Terrible has been usurped by Ivan the Decent.

In our wildest dreams not even the most biased fan would have seen us sitting first at this point in the season.

Some things have worked out incredibly well for us that couldn't have been planned for. Ontop of the development of Crichton, the signing of Api and the form of Cleary without Jimmy (i think was signs that would happen) and arguably the biggest shock... Edwards looking handy passing the ball.

The more we win the more confidence we build to be a team thats as good as our ladder position.
