Parklife thoughts?

Hey guys,

Not too sure how many of you ventured out to parklife over the past week across the country, but thought i'd give the rundown of my thoughts:


Positives: Magnetic Man (very intense), DFA 1979 (amazing), Digitalism (got the crowd moving), Crystal Fighers...f**king awesome

Par: Duck Sauce, Santigold,

Awful: Mylo (what the f**k, seriously...the guy was close to a corpse), The Streets (one of my fav groups but jeebus they were ordinary. What have three guys on the stage rapping over each other?), MSTRFKT (just boring shit), Tensnake (lame)

Overall, the weather sucked balls (again), but the venue itself was ok. A fair degree of deutsche bags, but that is nothing new as well. Wish they'd do something about the security, as usual, they were over the top and half of them were on roids. Someone is going to get killed by a security guard in the very near future and its going to be ugly

was alright, awful awful crowd though. I felt like i was with a bunch of school kids.

Santigold and Digitalism were the highlights for me, Nero was alright too.

Bought a ticket purely to see DFA1979 - massive, massive fan.

But alas, their set time didn't work well with the Grand Final and I had to make a choice. 2004 me would have killed 2011 me for not attending a Manly Grand Final, so I painfully sold my ticket last week.

How were they?

...part of me doesn't want an answer either.

they were awesome, incredibly solid. they wern't playing on a big stage but i think it worked well, hate to say it but they were equal best for me on the day
