I wonder what his go is. Merkin made his NRL debut shortly after his 18th birthday, so he must have some talent.

 

I'm a big Cody Nelson fan. Stoked he has the captaincy. He would be in my 17 for first grade ahead of Terepo.

 

Sunshine Coast are affiliated with Melbourne so there is still a pathway there for him.

Nelson is a good solid player, I hope he gets a shot at NRL during the year but he has a lot of talent in front of him.

Gordon is simply a loose cannon. Had a big blow up with Russel Crow years ago at a team function and that was pretty much the end of him at Souths. Got a shot at the Tigers a few years ago but screwed up at a pre season team visit to a school, wrote something stupid in the school visitors book.
He's a big unit and has talent but not the sharpest tool in the shed. Maybe he's matured with age.
