The dumping of Tepai to Wenty has really gone under the radar.
His defensive workrate was through the floor against the Sharks. It's a good opportunity for the coach to send a message.
@Poupou Escobar Stefano made 31 tackles in 38 minutes, how does that compare with props in first grade? I believe it ends up being .8 tackles per minute.
Yet he cant crack a spot.
Development contract ? Can play from 1 July or if Mannah / Pritchard leave prior ?
Excellent work rate, especially over nearly half a game.
And people whinge about Oregan not being picked
At least Kaufusi is eligible to play first grade. He's just been ordinary.
Exactly. He’s being outshone by a merkin who can’t even play NRL yet. Must be BAs fault Kaufusi out of form. Obviously not BAs fault that U2kimono is playing well though
or he is being "managed" due to his age
Or Kaufusi is on at the same time as Alvaro and Mannah whereas Stefano is on when the Wenty contracted props are on the field
Really? It was talked about enough in the teamlist thread.
Why the f**k would the coach play all his NRL props at the same time? Must have been ordered to by the BA looser contagion
If we picked him we wouldn't be eligible earn any points for the match, which would piss people off a bit.
He's thus far played 4 games for Wenty (on the way back from injury) , all from the interchange and has played a grand total of 160 minutes or so.
Yeah. Silly Gazza. Got mixed up between Oregan and Stefano. See what this bloody team is doing to me.
He'll get a run after June 30 one would think though (or maybe sooner depending on the Mannah situation and who slips into the Top 30).
Both starting this week.
What else is interesting about tomorrow's game are the match ups! The Keighran brothers go head-to-head for the first time in their life maybe, but also the former GPS champion Newington College centre pairing face each other in the second row. It's very exciting.
It will be just like old times. Perhaps Tepai can get some shot put training after the match.
