in the premier league......

but in all seriousness good luck to you guys going to be a top game it'll be hard for the eels to win with your guys playing so well at the moment and 5 or so fresh faces in the starting side for us.....

yeah my thoughts on Parra are that before they win they really need to pull a better performance first, they really are playing so far behind the 8 ball right now that it would be unfair of anyone to expect them to win this week simply because they have tinkered the line up.

Still, thats not to say they wont win, if they play well as a team they will be a chance and thats what every Parra fan should be expecting, that they compete, not necesarrily win but just give a better account of themselves.

Parra still has a pretty good set of forwards.Their issue has been getting the ball over the line.Against Saints and the Cowboys they could have easily won the games.but just didnt have the oomph out wide to turn field position into points.

Their backline looks slicker this weekend, even though Grothe is a big loss.

Simply put, we must do what Parra isnt doing, absorb the punishment of the first 20 and take our chances when they come.

Cheers.

Never under estimate a weaker side. That's what Coach Sheens will be instilling in his players leading up to Sunday. No doubt about it, the Eels will come out pumped, with a point to prove. Michael Witt for one is out to prove Smith and oythers wrong. They will step up to plate for sure.

yeh i dont think anyone should get over confident..
on form the tigers look set for a win.. but it's not guaranteed they still have to turn up and play 80 minutes of football to get the 2 points..
it'll be a good game.. and hopefully the tigers can capitalise on parra's recent poor form and put them away early..
tigers this year in most of their wins have had to grind it out for the full 80 minutes.. when the chance is there to put the opposition to bed they haven't taken their oppurtunities.. look at hte canberra game.. tigers could have won that quite comfortably.. and even tho on field they did so.. they still let canberra get a sniff with a few tries in the second half..

We have to win, I won't except anything less.

That statement has worked the last 2 times, so I'm saying it again. [-o<

This is the type of game that we normally lose, so if we truly are top 8 contenders you'd expect us to take control of this game and dominate. We'll see what happens, i'm tipping Tigers by 8.

Parra fans are dreamin. The Tigers are playing a tough, body on the line Rugby League style of football. Tim Sheens is to Tiger fans what Ricky Stuart is to Rooster fans. A bloody great coach! They can get the very best out of each and every player from 1 to 17 for 80 mins.

And let me guess, are the Tigers lower grades performing better with the good coaching techniques filtering down?

Chook.

P.S Tigers by 12+.

effecitvly a battle for 1st in reggies

Comming into this weekend
Balmain in 1st on 17 pts

Manly were 2nd but they lost to Canberra last night

& Parra are undefeated in Flegg (however they do have 1 draw)

Exactly, never underestimate ANY team, ANYWHERE on the table in a derby match - NEVER
