Keppie has the better work-rate, Kaufusi has better leg drive outside of that I feel like they're fairly similar although it's hard to say with Kep as he's only ever played 20's. I'd say that Kaufusi is slightly better at this stage. Last year we probably had the chance to promote Keppie but we didn't whereas when given the chance to promote Kaufusi we did right away all the way to first grade.

Utoikamanu is a different prospect to Keppie. Much better attacking player and a threat to score when inside the opposition 15. Stefano isn't a bad defender by any means but probably won't be able to produce the minutes Keppie can. It'll be interesting to see how he plays after an NRL pre-season.

I reckon he would have. And whilst it is disappointing that Kep won't be with us next year I feel like we have someone similar to him in Sam Hughes who made his Flegg debut in Round 25. Similar height to Keppie, similar body shape, high work-rate, mobile in defence and only 17 this year.
How would these guys compare to Alvaro?

I see alvaro as a worker ... these guys both are more attacking?

Mahoney, Salmon and Kaufusi have already debuted .......

And Brown, Dunster, Parry, Faingaa, Dresler and Utoikamanu have played NSW cup!!

Parry is a unit. Do people see him or Dunster as a better prospect?
Dresler seems interesting.Seems a worker with good attitude.

I seen Keppie and liked him but he looked a lot like a young Mitchel Allgood. And we he was young I am sure he had potential too. Twal looked better in 20s then Keppie from little games I saw. Twal didnt stop. Looked like he could play 80mins no trouble. Simmilar style to me.
Stefano is more a brut. As is Kafusi. But so is Matagi. Who knows how either will pan out. Imagine how Matagi would look in the 20s. I recall watching Tepai in 20s and he was almost unstoppable. The difference in class is huge. Unless ypu a clesr stand out in 20s I dont think you make it.
But hey Alvaro bends those rules. Id imagine he was rated a little though for the eels to sign him in first place.

Odd that Hollis and Hughes are named seeing as both played Flegg this year. Would've thought they'd be training and playing with the Flegg squad in the pre-season.

Also Paul Groves is from the Albury Thunder and Lachlan Maric is from the Aquinas Colts

Any one herd who is coaching Matts and Ball next year.? Very interesting selection..
Interesting to see who will be the 20s coach also.

As for comparing forwards - You might be shocked to hear Utoikamanu would be top 6 players speed wise and top 6 players endurance wise.

Kaufusi top 4 endurance so very very fit.

As for players playing up and doing Nrl preseason -
Dunster
Parry
S Utoikamanu
F Utoikamanu
Salesi
Schneider
Brown
Dressler

Plus
Mahoney
Kaufusi
Salmon

Do we have anything at fullback coming through?
Would like a run down on who people can see making side next season or is something special. Parry looks a big kid but well so was Davis.
Cheers
