Jake Capovilla (second row) and Levi Perrett (Half) selected for the NSWCIS u/15's camp. Both are from the AST Tigers u/15's team who are playing in the u/16's grade in the PDJRL.
A few others from that talented Toongabbie side have also made the NSWCIS side - Lorima Seuseu (FB), Khan Jackson (centre/2nd row) & Tommy Jackson (prop). Interesting that there’s seem to be more & more Eels juniors being shifted into GPS schools.

It seems to be more jnrs across the board actually. They want to play in that GPS comp. They probably also want to go to a good school - but is that really a big deal to them? Is it rugby's way of targeting those elite youngsters or is it just driven by the schools?
Anyway, I am going to try to stream/watch GPS rugby this year. It is cool to see the passion of "big" crowds at a high school game (or any semi pro level game).
RL really needs to fix up its high school ball across the board and elite level in particular.

School fees are not included in the cap for younger players, it’s a way of providing some sort of financial support without impacting junior rep resources. That’s why we have a number of junior rep players in private schools, could work against us but so far has been a decent investment.

Crazy that Risati didn’t at least make that squad - hopefully he’s not injured.
He is injured.
I follow a GPS rugby forum that has the squads and follows games etc and he was out the first week of the GPS season last weekend. I don't know anything more than that such as length of time he is out.
