Is Sapienza Italian. If so )or regardless( it is a very multicultural team.

An Irishman, a Russian, some Islanders etc. We just need some Indians and Chinese.

So the club in their wisdom have decided to play our round 21 Jersey Flegg home game at Allianz stadium 15 minutes before our first graders play the titans.... why they can’t play this one before our game is beyond me...it’s an absolute insult to our members and younge players representing us.

My email to Bernie was interesting I dare say he may not respond to it but As a member for over. 20 odd years I’m getting sick of being treated like a mug..

Actually the NSWRL/NRL in their wisdom did. They also wanted them to play both home games against St George in Woolongong but the club fought that and won. The Roosters are required under their contract to play 2 games at Alliance. Shows which teams get preference. Bullshit I agree

Spoke to someone who stated that the NSWRL controls the schedule, and clubs have no say . Our staff continually complain and seek changes, but the NSWRL basically tell them to stick it as they run the lower grades not clubs.

It appears that we lost this week's game 38-24.
Yep really good effort again by the lads but with so many players out we couldn't match the Knights firepower. Been a tough few weeks for a the team and as Stagger Eel said above playing our home game againest the Roosters at Allianz makes it even harder but I'm sure they'll give it everything!

They're doing a fantastic job considering our first 3 choice halves and first 2 choice dummy halves aren't playing plus a few injuries and promotions in other positions. Once the finals come around and those promoted come back we'll be a hard team to handle.

Does anyone know the definite situation with: Mahoney, Salmon, and Kaufusi with regards to dropping back to Flegg? I think it's no problem for Salmon and Kaufusi but with Mahoney already playing 4 NRL games and seemingly playing the rest of the year will he be able to drop back.

3 choice halves & first 2 choice dummy halves.?

Agree will be interesting to see the rules with players dropping back.!
If you play a certain amount of games in Nsw cup or Nrl are you allowed to drop back.?
Seeing Mahoney is in Nrl & now Pritchard injured is he allowed to drp back to 20s come finals.?
Alse seeing Dunster, Brown, Salmon, Kaufusi are in Nsw cup do the same rules apply as above.?

I did find this.! I wonder if this still applies.?

Eligibility
9.12. The eligibility of a player to participate in any final series match (Semi-final, final and grand final) will be determined on the basis of the participants playing record on the completion of the regular rounds of competition also considering majority of matches played (Under 12s to 20s)

9.12.1. All players in all U12s to 20s competitions must have played a minimum of five (5) regular competition matches over the course of the season for the same team to be eligible for that team

9.12.2. Once a player qualifies for one team they may be eligible and permitted to play for another team by application only to the NSWRL Club Competitions Coordinator. Players can seek to play in another age group or division other than the one they qualified for. (Open Age including Emerging Cup)

9.12.3. In Open Age competitions, players must play a minimum of five (5) matches across competitions to qualify for the club

9.12.4. A player will only be eligible for the finals in a lower division if three (3) of the last five (5) matches that they have played were in the lower division (Higher Level Competitions)

9.12.5. When a player is deemed or plays in a NSWRL Major Competition (Jersey Flegg, Sydney Shield, Women’s Premiership and Ron Massey Cup), they are required to play eight (8) matches to qualify for NSWRL Conference Competitions final series for that relevant team (see higher level competitions for more information) 9.12.6. Note Intrust Super Premiership NSW players are not permitted to play in NSWRL Conference Competitions

Or this..!

FINAL SERIES AND PLAY OFF QUALIFICATIONS a. The eligibility of a player to participate in any match included in the Final Series or Play Off Matches will be determined on the basis of their playing record at the conclusion of the rounds of the competition. b. All players must have played a minimum of Five (5) games for their team during the normal season to be eligible for the Final Series or Play Off Matches, unless prevented by injury (proof required prior to the player taking the field) or lack of available games if late registration. Please Note: - This rule does not apply to a lower grade player playing up, provided they has played Five (5) games in his registered grade during the normal season. (Subject to rule 2.7.5) c. Player eligibility to participate in the Finals Series or Play Off Matches will be based on the majority of games that the player participated in for a nominated team, this includes NSWRL/NRL Higher Level Competitions. IE if a player has played in 7 NYC matches during a season and 10 SCC U19 matches for his club team, they will be eligible to play Finals matches for his club team. If the player plays more NYC Matches then U19 they are not eligible for U19. d. A player having played in a higher SCC grade or division in the starting 13 of a Final Series is not eligible to compete in their own grade finals. An interchange player may play in a higher grade or division match and still be eligible to play in a lower grade match subject to rule 2.7.1

Our first 3 choice halves are Brown, Taipari and Salmon either injured or promoted. 2 first choice dummy halves are Mahoney and Schneider again either injured or promoted
