f**k me dead the comprehension skills and the ability to retain information of some of the posters on this forum is worse than a 1st grade footballer.
Max as Administrator of the Leagues Club and therefore owner of the NRL Club made constitutional reforms and appointed a board to the NRL Club (ummm, yes there are 2 clubs). At the time he appointed the NRL Club board he was made Chairman by the remaining 6 Board Members (Directors). Today he announced he has stepped down as the Chairman of the NRL Club board which IS NOT the Leagues Club board. The constitutional reform changes he has made to the PNRL mean only 2 Leagues Club directors get to be on the NRL Club board, which mean only 2 directors get voted for by the members - the rest are independently appointed.
This voting however does not happen until there are acceptable Constitutional Reforms to the Leagues Club which is what Max was also appointed to implement and which have been blocked by Leagues Club Members once already. Max will be here until those changes are made. It is these changes that will put an end to the factions and they include a tri-ennial election process meaning not all directors are replaced at the same time.
What we have experienced in the past has been a result of popular elections determining the make-up of the 7 man Leagues Club board and the whole 7 Leagues Club directors automatically being NRL Club directors. This has already been mostly stopped.
