Question to @emjaycee or some other involved merkin - can current players be voting club members? It’d be an interesting quirk if they could

Happy to be proved wrong but I don't think they can as employees of the club.
PLC owns PNRLC
The lady at the front desk when I went to get a hard copy of the constitution lamented that she was not allowed to vote being an employee

The constitution says

Voting Member means any Full Member who has been a Full Member for a continuous period of three (3) years prior to the date of voting at a general meeting or the close of a ballot of Members.

Doesn't seem to be any other clauses relating to it so I don't see why not

Not many here so far and nobodys offered me a free beer as yet. Even the coffee is tepid. Mentos are yummy though.

I left when a couple of people got up to the microphone complaining that as the Chairman would appoint the first board it wasn't right, it should be member voted. Max explained that he wants to get away from factions and this was the first step . Even Fitzy spoke asking for the amendment to be supported.

The chairman explained that the board would be up for member election on a rolling basis , just the first board would be appointed by him.He also mentioned that he would accept applications from members with 3 years membership and he would with assistance vet them and then appoint the first board. The portion of the audience that applauded and supported this silly view, seemed to be congregating around those wearing Vikings shirts.

Really there are complete muppets turning up in opposition to anything, should have been sufficient members there to ensure the 75% was achieved , complacency is obviously an issue.
