With all the different teams playing at the WSS the playing surface is going to take a beating.

Having no grass is blending the old with the new. Embrace the nostalgia mate.

ICYMI .....

Roosters will call the SCG home until the new SFS is ready.

https://www.roosters.com.au/news/2018/09/18/returning-home-in-2019/

Looks like the Waratahs will be playing their games at Brookvale, SCG and our new WSS.

http://www.greenandgoldrugby.com/community/threads/waratahs-2019.18301/page-8#post-1027716

SFC will spread their games over SCG, Jubilee and Leichhardt.

https://www.sydneyfc.com/fixtures#!/t1962

Wanderers will play at Mudgee, Spotless and ANZ.

https://www.wswanderersfc.com.au/fixtures#!/t7062

So WSS will be ready April 2019

The ANZ renovation is expected to begin in late 2019 and be completed by mid-2021, in time for the NRL grand final that year.

The Allianz Stadium rebuild will completed in March 2022. The crossover of the two upgrades means the 2020 NRL grand final will be held at the SCG.

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/gladys-berejiklian-allianz-anz-sydney-olympic-stadium-2018-3

As for Origin:

2017 Qld had G1 & 3 at Suncorp. G2 was at ANZ.

2018 G1 was at MCG, G2 ANZ G3 Suncorp.

2019 G1 is at Suncorp, G2 Perth G3 ANZ.

2020 G1 is at Adelaide, G2 and G3 are yet to be announced.

The SCG is a monumentally shitty ground to watch footy at.
I hope we don’t make the 2020 Grand Final. ;)

Can someone confirm that you can not enter the Leagues club car park, and then leave straight away without paying the parking fee? Is that correct?

Priority 1 members should have their seating allocation.

I'm in the lower bowl, row 15. I assume that's at the back of the bay?

Yes, that is true I I have been working at the new stadium for the last week, $20 for all day. It’s $15 down at the old pool car park. You can drop off at the door.

A couple of weeks ago my mate dropped me off at the club. He went through the boom gate then straight back out the other one in less than 2 minutes and didn't have to pay. IDK if he got lucky or there is a small window they will let you out for.

Mate, every time I have driven in there to park and check out the stadium progress, I've put my Leagues Club card in the machine to get in and out and there has been no charge.
The longest I've been in there for is about half an hour.

Anyone who has been to the Gold Coast stadium. Can you tell me which is better at Parra behind the goal line: Top tier or bottom tier?

I was gonna say half way up as top tier is a long way from the playing field but as our new stadium is steeper if you do the geometry it may not be as far away.

Decided not to renew my ticket ... bit sad - will miss the people i sit with

But i don't live out there and dont make it to that many games - cant really justify $70-$80 a game for the amount of games i get to

That's not a bad decision mate if it is based on finance.
It's now a 30 000 seater so there'll be seats available if you need to buy week by week.
I'm doing the same. If I miss a few games due to sell outs, well, so be it.
