Just heard Matty Parsons has been cleared to play penrith. This is awesome news! It does mean however that Seage is dropped from the bench which is a little bit disappointing but ah well i guess we got all year.

How do you work out Seage is dropped from the bench? he was named in the starting 17 along with Parsons. I can't see them dropping a back for a forward anyway, where did you hear Seage was dropped?
Here is the side that was named.

O'Davis
Tahu
Matt Gidley
Richardson
Quinn
Kurt Gidley
Johns
Perry
Buderus
Parsons
Simpson
Abraham
Ben Kennedy
Bench
Woolnough
Matt Kennedy
Price
Seage
Just means that Parsons plays as named and Seage stays on the bench as named. :? :?

I'm expecting Woolnough to start in the second row to help match up to the aggressive Panther's forward pack, with Abs to start at lock to cover BK and Lowrie on the bench.

So in the end I'm confused :?

Answer me this question - IS PARSONS PLAYING :?:

Parsons is most certainly back.
He got the all-clear from Dr Halpin, and he is starting in the front row.
NBN News had it last night, the Newcastle Herald ran an inside-back-page story today on it.
The thumb is "not 100%" but he reckons he can get through the game anyway.

Great news for the side. :D

....neither is his finger, the one he dislocated in the off-season which has kept him out of the trials [Oswin gives a sigh of relief]

In other news, Parsons' other fingers are travelling well, as are his toes. Although his middle toes have complained about the smell. Parsons has denied there is a problem.

Thanks Oswin.

I don't live in Newcastle anymore and I therefore don't get to see NBN or read the Herald anymore and so I am relying on you guys for all my info.
So cheers again. :D

I found them on a redundant Ansett Australia jet. ;-)

Trust me, they're mostly used to make me laugh at my mistakes - which means I regularly run out.

Please direct all complaints about my distorted sense of humour to:

That should keep her sufficiently busy so she isn't in everyone's hair all the time. ;-)
