With all the talk of how bad music is today, I thought I'd post the link to what has been one of my highlights of 2009.

Bill Janovitz, all round super guy and lead singer of one of my favourite bands, Buffalo Tom (last seen in Australia playing a great show to a 1/10th full metro in 2008), has a blog, 'Part time Man of Rock', where he posts thoughts on different things and attempts to also record and post up a 'Cover of the Week', with accompanying notes as to why he recorded it.

It's a great read, he has covered some great songs. Get into it.

One of my all time favourite bands.

Yes Summer is a great song but its one among many.

Songs like I'm Allowed, Mineral, Soda Jerk and Scottish Windows all live deep within my heart.

A very gifted writer is Bill.
