Hodgo tried hard but really did have a shocker - I've got no doubts he'll bounce back to his best next week (even the best have their off weeks) but I wont be giving him any wraps for yesterdays game.

Boof tried hard, I actually think Skando did too - the problem is the saints forwards were just miles ahead of us - I'd kill to sign one of their young props.

Bronson and Dene I think both tried hard, neither made a real impact but at least they were still putting in an effort, Bronson seems to be growing in confidence and getting more involved in first grade now which can only be a good thing.

Dazza did some good defensive work early in the game, not so much when he came on for his second stint in the 2nd half. Of course by that stage the game was well and truely over so I guess its hard to expect too much of him.

Graham and Beuttner should never play first grade again - the best tackle Beuttner did all game was when he cleaned up prince :roll:

Hodgson: Tried hard but had one of those days a fullback will have from time to time.

Moodie: Like hodgo, tried hard but made a few somewhat uncharataristic errors.

Halatau: Some strong runs again, got trampled a few times in denfense but overall wasnt bad.

Elford:Mixed bag , especially in defense, made some telling tackles and some not so impressive tackles, pretty much on par with the rest of the side.

Richards: Considering it was his first game, i was happy , didnt do much but wasnt really at fault out there, Better for the run.

Wilson:dissapeared after 20 mins, shifting with Buettner at times didnt help i guess.

Prince: Probably his most dissapointing game for us yet, we know he's better than that, he wont play like that again this season.

Payton: Seemed to be playing injured, like almost all our forwards , outplayed,
Senter: tried hard as usual did make some good runs.
Skandalis: good first 20 mins but like most of our forwards was overpowered,
Heigington: Had a go as always but again, overpowered.
Laffranchi: Probably the only forward to hold his head high. Made good runs all day.
Graham: banished to PL and we were reminded why, Seemed slow in attack and soft in defense, the opposite of what Sattler would've provided. perhaps we should've let brisbane take him.


Mears: was kept quiet and only made a few good runs really,
Harrison:best game yet for the kid. Made some good runs and actually looked our best when out there i thought, had a real go and made an impact.
Gibbs: quiet, like most of our pack, overpowered.
Buettner: first game back in 8-9 months, it did show too, but like Richards better for the run.

Sheens: to be honest i dont think who he selected would've made a difference. LIke he said, yesterday was pretty much a ride off, he knows what we're capable of and its best left alone this performance.

I think malcom noad said it best "Lets assume nothing happened at kogarah"..lets forget that match, its a writ off..no positives and theres no point dweeling on the negatives.. #-o

we just need to hold on in the 1st 20 against the roosters. if were in it at 1/2 time were a chance, the boys need some confidence to play well.
