With Manly losing, we are only 2 points behind THREE teams, and each of them having around half our F/A

Panthers run home: Raiders, Dragons, Manly

Manly run home: Bulldogs, Warriors, Panthers

Cowboys run home: Sharks, Tigers, Broncos

Our run home: Broncos, Panthers, Bulldogs

If we win all 3, we get in automatically. If we win 2 of 3, we still make the finals if one of these teams loses 2 of 3. We can even technically make it if we only win 1 of 3, but that requires one of these teams to lose all 3 games (a real possibility with Cowboys imo)

Cowboys are in the biggest danger of being overtaken by us and if we beat Panthers and Bulldogs, we are in the 8 for certain. If we manage to beat Brisbane, well then it gets even easier.

If we win all 3 , we're in. Simple as that. If we can't beat the broncos or the panthers, or get beaten convincingly by either, we're just making up the numbers anyway.

Expect the unexpected in the last 3 rounds. The bottom teams seem to lift with the end in sight. We'll probably beat Broncos & Panthers then friggin lose to the Dogs! Hold on Folks there's plenty of twists & turns coming!

Would be nice to make the 8......but in reality means we get to play an xtra week the likely scenario....although funnier things have happened in finals footy.........for mine a lot of luck has to go our way to get in the last 8 for starters

It's not that far of a stretch to suggest we play Manly in week 1 of the finals (5 v 8 or 6 v 7)

That would be amazing, imagine smashing them for a 3rd time this year to begin our finals charge!

Not to mention we smashed them in Week 1 2010 as well

McCrone & Mary's lack of preparation/creativity for games we were expected to win is going to bite us hard.
Our race is against the Cowboys who we need to lose all 3.
For us winning 1 from 3 is hard enough let alone 2 or 3 when you consider our honeymooners d*ck form line.

We need to beat the panthers plus win one more.

Manly vs panthers is good for us. Worst result there would actually be a draw and they both walk away with one point and somehow that knocks us out! - would be Dragons luck!

our F/A is good in comparison to the others but one loss for us and a win for those teams brings it back to pretty even.

Panthers - are on a winning streak which has to be broken sooner or later, each win they have is closer to a loss. Wouldn't be surprised if the raiders beat them this weekend. Then we'd be competing against both raiders and panthers (assuming broncos do beat us).

Cowboys - wouldn't be surprised if they lose to both Sharks and broncos. Although depending how things sit Rd 26, Broncos might decide to rest some players which isn't good for us.

Manly - they're not on a good run and let's hope it continues!

I am not confident. I think we will beat Broncos then lose to penrith and dogs. The Dragons are great at letting us down just when we think its game on.

Wallace is out at least this weekend against Raiders.......hopefully he wont be fit for our game the followiing week.....personally I think their a different side with him in it

The hardest thing to swallow was Mary coming out before the Titans game saying we only needed to win 3 of 4 to make the semis. Why put it out there that a loss is acceptable?? Why excuse the poor form in the Souths & Knights game??
I am now firmly in the camp that his first priority was to get a contract extension & after that 'whatever' because Hunt is coming for 2018.
Sorry to turn this into. McGregor bash but it's just infuriating to think we have made hard work out of something that was well within reach as little as 3 weeks ago.
