if anything defamatory is said about any party in a legal case like this, anyone who comments publicly, particularly assuming guilt, is left open to action. Publishers are also left open to it.

News/Fox may have lawyers coming out the wazoo but it doesn't preclude anyone bringing action against them.

So yeah - that's why they are limiting social comments for now.

The shows on fox league are all just barely literate buffoons who either used to play or are employed as media. For me, it's a routine comedy fix, to which I thought most in here would've already drawn to that conclusion.

But anyhow, this is a red letter day for rugby league fans everywhere. I thought he was mellowing a bit until that moment with Salmon V Can from 6 weeks ago. Other Fox journos rang the Penrith club in response to distance themselves from Kent's tirade.

If found guilty, his position will be untenable due to political pressure from woman's groups and other media, and the damage that this will cause to their already floundering masthead, the DT.
