He retired from International footy last year to get himself fit and concentrate on St Helens who pay his wages.
But he is now saying it would be great to play for England in the World Cup, if he has a big year for Saints I think he will make himself available.

I'll be at all the England pool games, possibly their semi too, I hope he is back.

Actually, I'd love for all players who've retired from representative duties to come back, so that the best 17 can take to the field for every game.

i'd take a half fit scully over every single loose forward in the NRL & SL..so i prey to god he get fit and has a full season @ saints before the world cup..


having him behind ellis,burgess,peacock,roby & morley would be awesome :shock:

Yeah it's a great shame scully has been injured for so long.

He is one of the pommy players I have a ton of respect for. England could definitely use him in the WC.

Agreed a fully fit Scully would be invaluable to England and would push us very close to Australia.

We have a settled and talented halfback pairing for the first time in about 15 years so a strong and dominant pack would certainly lay a winning platform.

England need a couple of young centres to come foreward this year. There are a few candidates on the verge but they really need to step up during SLXlll.
