Depends which shows you saw last time - Newcastle f*cking ruled, the second show in Sydney was pretty bloody good too.

Yeah I was at Newcastle too, was brilliant. Last night I wasn't a fan of the open air stadium acoustics and Ed was obviously not 100%. But as a consequence they worked it into a really good setlist - MFC, Crazy Mary, Porch, Garden etc. But shattered they couldn't close with Ledbetter!

It was pretty sweet... Garden, Light years, Porch, Why Go, Dissident were all great to see.

I was really hanging out for one of Daughter, Jeremy or Release (especially) but they can't do them all.

*EDIT* Saw this somewhere:

Note: Due to illness, Eddie Vedder lost hist voice somewhere during the second encore, and Pearl Jam had to omit Once, Alive, Better Man, Daughter and Yellow Ledbetter, all planned for the second encore. They played an entire cover-based encore instead. Mankind hadn't been performed in Australia since March 15, 1998.

Damn :fist:

I loved the two they did together, Under pressure in PJ's set and the other in Harper's.

ah f**k!

still, loved it. great playlist way better then last time they were here. amazing performance

as for SFS Security though...f**king raspberries....typically woeful effort, big buffoons. people were passing out everywhere, one of my mates almost passed out and it took them 15 minutes to get water to her. people could've died in there last night never been so hot at a gig...crazy

I wasn't that impressed with Pearl Jam, I thought they'd be alot better than what they were, maybe my expectations were too high. Ben Harper however was unreal. Liam Finn was probably one of the worst artists I've ever seen.

It was a good night out, but I don't think it was worth the ticket price.

Pretty good night I thought, felt like 50 degrees half the night though!

Was quite dissapointed at those songs we missed out on, would of made it a fantastic night.

Second best (of the 8 i've seen) PJ show in NSW. Newcastle was incredible, this comes in at #2 fo sure.

Finally got Mankind and Garden, means i've only missed Long Road and Hard To Imagine (which they'll never play again anyway).
