Well I just came from the showground where I watched an ordinary, not worthy of any kind of victory Bulldogs side defeat the Jets 48/28.
It was 34/28 with about 15 to go. The Jets just behind but having held the lead on several occasions.
With Newtown a man down ( 10 in bin ) for something. I don't know what, it looked like the Canterbury player at the play the ball was going to drop the ball forward, so he decided to just jump on top of the Newtwon player at the play the ball. He wriggled around ( On top of the Newtown player, who obviously could not move. Then the ref gives them ANOTHER ( inconsistant and one sided) penalty, and sends our player to the bin.
This was one of the truly one sided pathetic displays of referreeing I have ever seen.
At one stage in the 2nd half Bulldogs throw the ball over the side line. Newtwon ball. NO. GIVE THE BALL BACK TO CANTERBURY. YOUR KIDDING. The result. ANOTHER GREAT REFEREE TRY. TO THE DOGS.
I lost count of the one sided penalty count. However even the dogs supporteres sitting near us were shaking their heads at some of them.
Newtown took towards the end to standing about 12 back instead of ten, as the ref would continually scan their line, and give Canterbury an offside penalty at the smallest infraction. However Canterbury, who spent MOST of the game offside, ( HE WOULDNT EVEN LOOK ACROSS TO CHECK THEY WERE ON. )
One of their tries was from an intercept by a player who was blatently offside. Another great try ref.

We did not lose that game by 20 points. The scoreline is no indication what so ever of this game. YOU ARE A JOKE REF. AND THERE SHOULD BE A FORMAL COMPLAINT MADE AGAINST YOU.
