With all our backline problems at the moment why dont we try and sign Peni Tagive, he is currently playing with Berkeley in the Illawarra competition, what a waste. I was sorry to see him leave the Tigers, I know he had a bad run with injuries but he had potential. He won't get a look in at Saints unless their is injuries,Gasnier,Cooper, Nightingale, Morris, Boyd etc he may get a game during S.O.O. but he could be playing first grade with the Tigers every week. Lawrence won't be back until maybe round 17, Tuquiri round 12, the year will be gone,our current backline can't do the job.

Yes please,we can give them Ryan as a swap,me I would be chasing Hopoate,telling Ryan,McKinnon,Payten,Daniela and maybe Moltzen it's time to go.

It would be a good idea in my opinion. For some reason we are one of the only clubs who never ever seems to look at recruiting any players after the season commences. Michael Lett is another who springs to mind.

Why not try his younger brother - he's already at the club.

He does go OK and has size and speed - 194 cm & 99 kg compared to,
Lote Tuquiri 191 cm & 102 kg, Mitch Brown at 188cm and a good size at 96 kg's thats 3 guys over the old 6 feet. Then Matt Utai the smallest at 168cm but 96 kg.

Oh and the light weight that coach Sheens likes so much in Beau Ryan 186 cm & a massive 84 kg.

Can't argue. Certainly prefer over Ryan. At least there's scope for development, unlike Ryan who is, sadly, at the top of his game, development-wise.
