The bench is weak, but they actually have a very good side 1-13.

must admit they will have to be on ther game to compete with the eels
or it could get ugly again. i am tipping a close game .

I'm tipping a blowout as long as the useless Purtell, Simmons and Plum are in the team.

I've rarely seen a player lose a game by themselves, but Purtell did that vs Parra last year. I suggest he'll do the same. He's clueless on a football field...but must give GREAT BJ to be selected

Interesting that the Bulldogs are using all the St George players this week.

Sandor Earl has one shocker... along with half the team and gets dropped for it. Adrian Purtell has a shocked in 4 of every 5 matches and is still picked every single f*cking week. Just when it looks like he's forced out of the team due to our backline all establishing themselves ahead of him, he gets moved to the forward pack and holds off some promising young blokes who are actually forwards.

Eels by 48. That's being generous to Penrith and assuming we'll improve on last week.

Hmm backs on paper are decent and forwards are strong but the bench is lacking. Purtell as a second rower??? Shack, lasalo, smith, hindy and horo will have a field day. I'm always wary of Luke Lewis...top player!

I think eels will win by 18

was that the same team that played against the knights, if so, panthers had a strong team as well.

It was but Coote, Gordon, Jennings, Waterhouse, Lewis had little to no off season due to injury. Given Lewis made 9missed tackles very unusual everyone was off.

I would expect a closer game. I don't know which it will go as there is no easy games in this comp. But should be a good game
